Anna helped me out when my Sphynx cat, Kyra, started developing some health issues. My vet told me to immediately take her to a veterinary hospital, and my first thought was to call Anna. I had a feeling I would end up having to make the difficult decision to euthanize, and I didn’t want to face it alone. Anna was able to be by my side the entire time at the hospital while we waited for a diagnosis. When my fears were confirmed, Anna was there to reassure me that I was making the right decision to let Kyra go. She made sure the whole process went smoothly, so that I could just focus on saying goodbye. Afterward, she gave me tips on how to handle my grief, and she checked in with me in the following weeks to make sure I was doing ok. Putting a pet down is never easy, but I am so grateful I had her by my side in that moment.

My friends dog Rocky, had to be put down after living to the old age of 14. She had Rocky since he was a pup, so this was really tough on her. I reached out to Anna for help, and she guided me on what to expect and how we can celebrate Rocky’s life.
Rocky was a like a community dog, so she suggested we get some pictures of him together and all do a painting of what he meant to us. It was BEAUTIFUL. We used everyone’s work as a memorial for him by his favorite tree

When it was time to say goodbye to my cat, Stanley, I was a nurse working on a covid floor during the height of the pandemic. I did not have the ability to be there with him at the very end, so I called on Anna to help. She took the load off my shoulders, and handled the appointment herself. I was able to say goodbye to him on my own terms beforehand, and was comforted knowing he was held in her compassionate care. She communicated with me throughout the entire process, and assured me he passed peacefully. It was such a relief knowing I could count on her to make sure he received the absolute best care even in my absence.
